ABOUT LUCAS M. BERNARD
Lucas M. Bernard is a Baton Rouge native who was raised in Mandeville, Louisiana. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Louisiana State University before going on to receive his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Southern University Law Center in May 2025. While in law school, Lucas served on Law Review as Articles Editor and worked through the SULC Law Clinic, where he provided legal services to indigent clients.
Lucas was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in October 2025 and began his legal career with Seale & Ross after transitioning from his prior role as a law clerk. His work is grounded in rigorous legal research and writing, practical client service, and a disciplined, mission-driven approach shaped by his varied professional background.
Before entering the practice of law, Lucas held leadership responsibilities in range and retail management at an NSSF Five Star shooting range, where he oversaw daily operations and training. He also served as a 68W Combat Medic in the Louisiana Army National Guard, participating in regular drills and field exercises and supporting disaster response efforts during floods, hurricanes, and COVID-19 operations throughout Louisiana.
Lucas brings that same sense of service, discipline, and professionalism to his work as an attorney. His background in public service, training, and operations has helped shape a steady, detail-oriented approach to serving clients and supporting the firm’s work.
Outside of the office, Lucas enjoys exploring new restaurants with his wife, Savannah, honing his marksmanship, and studying history.
